On May 2nd "The Flag Day" is celebrated in Poland. On this occasion we were visited by a team of the Polish television Channel TVN24.

Furthermore we were visited on this day by the Polish actor Jaroslaw Gruda, known from various TV shows.

This year we had to wait very long for spring. Now he finally seems to have prevailed over the winter and delights us with its warming rays of the sun. Many tourists took advantage of the nice weather to pay our Miniature Park a visit. We also invite you cordially to visit us.

At Easter the Miniature Park will be open. On Sunday, March 31st from 12-17 o'clock and on Monday, April 1st from 10-17 o'clock.

The summer 2013 may break the record heat, say Australian meteorologists. It is quite possible that 2013 will be the warmest summer since 1850.

The Miniature Park of the Polish Lighthouse looks in the summer very beautiful. Blooming, wonderful smelling flowers and our miniatures sparkling in the sun combine to a unique scene. You will be informed about the miniatures by one of our park guides. See for yourself and enjoy a memorable day in our park.

In our model studio we are constantly building new miniatures. We are currently building one of the finest Gothic buildings in Pomerania, the Cathedral of St. John in Kamień Pomorski. In the spring we will present the miniature in our park.
The Roman-Gothic cathedral was built in the 12th-13th century and is considered the largest church in Pomerania. In the 19th century the old Gothic tower was demolished and a new bell tower built in Gothic Revival style was erected. In 1934 the church was renovated again and changes were made to the tower. Particularly noteworthy is the baroque organ from the 17th century. Since 2005 the cathedral and the surrounding buildings are a "monument of history."

The Miniature Park of the Polish Lighthouses is organizing a photo competition this year under the motto "Miniature Wonder in the lens" for the best photos of our miniature lighthouses. The photos should be sent to: poczta@park-miniatur-latarni.pl. All photos will be published on the facebook profile of our park. The winner of the contest will be the person whose photo receives the most clicks on the "Like"-button. The competition runs until February 20th, 2013. Photos are accepted until February 20th. Each submitted photo must include a first and last name, postal address and a telephone number. The results will be announced on February 27th, 2013. The grand prize is a weekend at the inn "The Golden Horn" in Rewal. The five most popular photos also get some souvenirs from our Miniature Park.
